For over 20 Years, CDS Inc has been a second home to the dancers in our community. At CDS Inc we offer a complete dance education program that is inclusive of all levels and abilities. We also offer Exam Programs with the ISTD and Acrobatic Arts for dancers who wish to learn in a more intensive environment.

Our son Devon started dancing when he was just 5 years old. Miss. Catherine and her team welcomed this little boy with open arms. He was so nervous, as were we, being the only boy in the whole studio at that time. It didn’t take long for us to see that he was in a very loving, nurturing environment. He never left a class without giving Miss. Catherine a great big hug. Miss. Catherine has been so motherly to all her dancers. I have seen her cry with them when they felt they did bad on an exam. And I have seen her laugh and celebrate the wins with them. Fast forward to now, and Devon just finished his 10th year of dancing at CDS. That one class has expanded to spending 8-10 hours a week at the studio. Miss. Catherine and her team have cared and nurtured him into his teens. Dance as helped Devon get through some tough times. The studio was and still is a safe haven for him. A place where can be himself without judgement, only love and support. Being a boy dancer is not easy at times. But the love, support and encouragement he has been shown by not only his family, but all of his dance family, as been second to none. He is surrounded by a bunch of beautiful young ladies everyday, who love him like a brother. We are so thankful to Miss. Catherine and her team for showing Devon that boys can and DO dance!!
Miss Catherine and the staff at CDS Inc. are passionate about the art of dance and love to work with children of all ages. At CDS Inc. a great selection of fun and interactive dance classes are available and tailored to build confidence and growth in all students from toddlers to adults. Dance has been a wonderful experience for both of my children during the past 5 years and 2 years respectively. They are welcomed at the door with a smile and enter into a space where friendship, respect, commitment and discipline are fundamental. Miss Catherine is patient, nurturing and enthusiastic. She helps her students find the love of dance and her passion is evident through the future generation of dancers and teachers she has developed.

Since opening the studio in 2002, Catherine has proudly offered dancers a space that feels like home and a professional environment for them to learn and grow. She is happy to continue to provide local youth with a studio setting that is comfortable and accpeting, while continuing to guide the standard for dance education in Bay Roberts and surrounding areas.
